  11.     Dear user:
  12.  
  13.     This Window NT OCT beta driver for 3290AS is available for your beta
  14.     and it is at your own RISK. DTC is not responsible for any of your
  15.     data lost or data corruption.

  18.     Following is a brief installation procedures:
  19.  
  20.     1. Boot up DOS with vendor's DOS & CD-ROM driver. 
  21.        (ASPI3X90.SYS, ADTC-CD.SYS)
  22.     2. Assume CD-ROM is at drive "D".
  23.     3. cd D:\i386
  24.     4. Issue winnt
  25.     5. Give D:\i386  as source directory.
  26.             C:\winnt as target directory
  27.     6. Put a formatted, blank HD floppy in drive "A:"
  28.     7. Setup will copy NT files from CD-ROM to (would be bootable) floppy
  29.        and C:\winnt
  30.     8. Wait until all done with copy.
  31.     9. Ignore the request of keeping the bootable floppy in drive "A:"
  32.        then TAKE it out!!
  33.        10. Copy the vendor's miniport driver (DTC329X.SYS)
  34.        i) COPY A:DTC329X.SYS C:\$win_nt$.~ls\spare.sys
  35.        ii) COPY A:DTC329X.SYS (new created bootable floppy as "SPARE.SYS")
  36.        11. Delete AHA154X.SYS on the bootable diskette. ( VERY IMPORTANT )
  37.        12. System memory -- minimum of 12MB --.
  38.        13. Boot the system with bootable floppy.
  39.        14. From now on, follow the NT setup procedure.

  42.     NOTE: In the course of installation, if error/failure occurs
  43.           user should "REMOVE all related directory entries and files",
  44.           before re-install from scratch.
